Integral interactive whiteboard and short throw projector on a
wall frame
As many projectors are mounted 1-2m away from
the whiteboard, teachers and pupils have a Health & Safety issue in
that the bright projector light can shine into their eyes.
Solutions include SMARTBOARD or Activboard integral whiteboard and
short throw projector on a wall mount, with choice of fixed or
height adjustable wall mount. Bundle packages allow schools to
buy these integral solutions with audio and installation, so that
someone comes along and installs it for you.
Where existing whiteboards are in schools and colleges, then short
throw projectors and wall boom arms are available to mount above
existing boards.

Utilising existing dry-wipe whiteboards
Many educational establishments still have dry-wipe whiteboards
and rather than replace these with interactive whiteboards, you can
use a portable whiteboard system.
mimio and eBeam are best known brands in the UK, and these adhere to
a whiteboard, which then captures all that you write, draw or
annotate on, up to 8 x 4-feet, which can be saved on your PC for
distribution or insertion into documents.
eBeam whiteboard can be used without a projector (like a copyboard);
eBeam projection is for use with a projector, whilst eBeam complete
gives you the best of both worlds. Bluetooth versions are also
